Youth Central’s Jim Button Youth Grant helps fuel the dreams of young changemakers in Calgary. Thanks to the Jim Button Community Builder Fund at Calgary Foundation, this grant provides youth with the support they need to bring their community-building ideas to life.
How it works: Complete the simple form below. A committee of youth volunteers aged 12 – 18 will review applications and determine which projects receive funding. It’s that easy to get money to help make your ideas fly!
Projects should be:
- Located in Calgary or surrounding area.
- Directly benefit youth who live in Calgary or the surrounding area.
- Planned and implemented by youth aged 12 – 18. We prioritize youth-initiated projects, although some adult support is welcome.
We give projects up to $2,000 per project, per year.
We do NOT fund:
- For-profit ventures or individuals.
- Conference fees or tuition costs.
- Individuals directly in the form of salary.
- Non-inclusive activities.
Due to the high volume of applications we receive for the Calgary Youth Foundation grants, priority is given to youth who have not previously received funding.
